The Ho Chi Minh City Hair & Beauty Association is a voluntary social-professional organization established by the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee to support individuals, organizations, and businesses operating in the field of hair and beauty services, and at the same time act as a bridge to transmit and respond to information between state management agencies and individuals, organizations, and businesses operating in this field to create understanding and consensus towards common goals.
Association organizes weddings for people with disabilities.
The Association currently has more than 1,300 members who are Salon - Spa owners, stylists and beauty industry experts across the country. Over the past time, the Association has carried out many diverse and meaningful activities, such as bridging organizations and individuals in the industry; training and honoring stylists and beauty experts; protecting the legitimate rights and interests of members, contributing to the development of the Vietnamese beauty industry.
Along with that are traditional activities such as ancestor worship ceremonies, gratitude to teachers, charity activities such as building charity houses, organizing weddings for the disabled, haircuts, free vocational training, disaster relief, epidemics, helping people in difficult circumstances.
Association organizes free haircut program in Ben Tre.
In addition, during the second term, the Association also continuously improved the quality of services and products in the beauty industry, by updating the latest knowledge and skills in the industry, organizing professional competitions, seminars updating hair and beauty trends, and cooperating with vocational schools and beauty organizations at home and abroad such as Japan and Korea.
“In the second term, the Association will implement support programs and connect all organizations and individuals operating in the hair and beauty industry in Vietnam towards a motto of health, beauty, safety, creating more jobs for workers and aiming at meaningful and practical community activities.”, Ms. Cao Thi Hong Lam, President of the Association emphasized.
