Thuan An Group Joint Stock Company - TAG (Thuan An Company) started construction of bridges in Quang Ninh from April 27, 2023 and is expected to be completed by November 17, 2024.

The 4 bridges constructed by Thuan An Company in Quang Ninh include Tan Yen 2 Bridge, Hang Son Bridge, Song Cam Bridge and Dam Thuy Bridge.

According to the report of Thuan An Company sent to the Management Board of Investment and Construction of Traffic Works of Quang Ninh Province on May 22, up to now, 3 out of 4 bridges have met the progress, while Hang Son Bridge is behind schedule and is only drilling bored piles and making piers.

Recorded at the construction site of the Dam Thuy Bridge on the morning of May 23, the bridge has taken shape and spans the Dam Thuy River. Many bridge girders have been gathered near the operator's house.

At the construction site, there were only a few workers installing the material lifting system on the bridge deck.

Construction site commander (Thuan An Company) Mr. Pham Si Lich said that currently in Quang Ninh, there are 6 officers in charge of operating and managing the construction of 4 bridges. Meanwhile, the number of workers at Dam Thuy bridge is 9 workers, Song Cam bridge has 10 workers; the remaining two bridges have no construction workers.

"Currently, Dam Thuy bridge has completed about 65% of the work volume, but the construction and installation of the left bridge railing casting machine is behind schedule," said Mr. Lich.

There were only a few workers installing the material lifting and lowering system on the bridge surface.

The reason for the delay is that some staff of Thuan An Company are working with law enforcement agencies to clarify related issues. The work of mobilizing materials to the construction site such as steel, railing casting trucks, and concrete is still slow.

The Quang Ninh Province Traffic Construction Investment Management Board said that Thuan An is joining forces with contractors to implement package 13 of the riverside road project connecting Ha Long - Hai Phong highway to Dong Trieu town, from provincial road 338 to Dong Trieu town (phase 1).

Project implementation period: 2021-2024. This package builds Lach Gac 1 bridge, Lach Gac 2 bridge, Sen bridge, Den bridge, Tan Yen 1 bridge, Tan Yen 2 bridge, Hang Son bridge, Song Cau Vang bridge, Song Cam bridge, Dam Thuy bridge with a total value of more than 706 billion VND.

In particular, the work performed by Thuan An, in addition to the construction of the Dam Thuy bridge mentioned above, also includes 3 other bridges: Tan Yen 2, Hang Son, and Song Cam.

The total construction value of these four bridges is more than 354 billion VND.

Up to now, 3 bridges are on schedule, while Hang Son bridge is behind schedule.

Thuan An Company constructs 4 bridges at the Quang Ninh riverside road project.

On April 15, the Ministry of Public Security's Investigation Police Agency issued decisions to prosecute, arrest warrants, and search warrants for the following suspects:

Mr. Nguyen Duy Hung, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Thuan An Group Joint Stock Company, for the crimes of "Violating bidding regulations causing serious consequences" and "Giving bribes", as prescribed in Clause 3, Article 222 and Clause 4, Article 354 of the Penal Code.

Mr. Tran Anh Quang, General Director of Thuan An Group Joint Stock Company, for the crime of "Giving bribes", stipulated in Clause 4, Article 364 of the Penal Code.

Mr. Nguyen Khac Man, Deputy General Director of Thuan An Group Joint Stock Company, for the crimes of "Violating bidding regulations causing serious consequences" and "Giving bribes", as prescribed in Clause 3, Article 222 and Clause 4, Article 354 of the Penal Code.
