Journey to revisit the old battlefield

On the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification Day (April 30, 1975 - April 30, 2025), the delegation of the Veterans Association of Bac Ninh province, including members of the Provincial Veterans Association Executive Committee, Chairmen and Vice Chairmen of the Veterans Associations of districts, towns and cities, provincial-level reporters, outstanding veteran delegates, and provincial Association officials with many achievements in 2024, organized a visit to the old battlefield.

During the trip from March 27 to 31, the provincial Veterans Association visited some old battlefields in the Central Highlands, Independence Palace, and Ben Nha Rong - where Uncle Ho left Saigon to begin his 30-year journey to find the path to national liberation.

Visit the historical site of the Buon Ma Thuot battle, Mang Den Victory Monument, Kom Tum Prison... visit the Dak Lak Province Martyrs' Cemetery - the eternal resting place of thousands of martyrs nationwide who heroically sacrificed for the cause of protecting the Fatherland.

The meaningful trip helped delegates recall memories of a glorious youth, achievements, information about the arduous and heroic days of fighting with the army and people of the Central Highlands during the long resistance war, and see the transformation of the vast Central Highlands after 50 years of liberation. Responding to the desire to express gratitude to comrades and teammates who heroically sacrificed for the independence and freedom of the Fatherland, for the happiness of the people who are still lying on this historic land.
