Deputy Director of the Vietnam Children's Fund Nguyen Thi Hien said: "The journey to discover the senses" is one of the 5th year activities of the project "Raising awareness of autism in Vietnamese children" jointly implemented by the Vietnam Children's Fund and PNJ Company from 2019 to present, with the goal of raising awareness of the community about autistic children in Vietnam.
Within the framework of the project, the parties have coordinated to organize the editing and publishing of a set of standard documents on supporting autistic children in Vietnam; compiled and published autism documents in pictures to provide knowledge about autism to parents and teachers.
Along with that, it is necessary to coordinate training and capacity building for 100 core staff (source lecturers) on propaganda and support for autistic children; disseminate knowledge about autism to 10,000 parents, caregivers of autistic children, people working in child protection and care and the community; support 10,000 teachers, project staff, staff working in child protection, care and education to access and standardize knowledge about autism in Vietnam.
Through the dissemination of knowledge, about 4,000 autistic children indirectly benefit from the project to integrate into the community.
In 2025, the Project will continue to implement the following activities: Compiling the document "School supplies for autistic students"; Converting printed documents into electronic documents... The Project will also provide financial support for 573 autistic children in difficult circumstances in centers and communities with a budget of 2 to 3 million VND/child.

At this event, the Program supported 100 million VND for 50 autistic children, 2 million VND each, taken from the fundraising fund from the program "Colorful pinwheels, spreading love".
Notably, after this event, the program "Colorful pinwheels, spreading love" will also support 3 provinces and cities: Hanoi, Ha Nam and Thai Binh on April 1 and 2, each province with 30 million VND.
Through activities in response to World Autism Awareness Day (April 2), organizers hope to spread the most practical values of love to the community, especially the community of children with developmental disorders.
