VOV.VN - On September 24, the 21st China-ASEAN Expo (CAEXPO) and China-ASEAN Business and Investment Summit (CABIS) officially opened in Nanning City, Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, China. Vietnam continues to be the largest country at the Expo, second only to the host country China.
The CAEXPO is a multilateral cooperation activity between ASEAN and China, in which China plays the role of host country. The theme of CAEXPO 2024 is “Common development, diamond crown creates the future – Promoting the construction of China-ASEAN Free Trade Area version 3.0 and high-quality growth area”, continuing to be an important platform to promote cooperation in the fields of trade, investment, tourism, contributing to the construction and development of the China-ASEAN Free Trade Area. In 2024, Vietnam continues to play the role of gateway to the ASEAN-China Free Trade Area, a bridge between the ASEAN Economic Community and China. Vietnam's annual participation in the CAEXPO with its increasingly improved scale and quality will be an important trade, investment and tourism promotion event that helps strengthen links with countries in the region, maximize the benefits brought about by the China-ASEAN Free Trade Area, and increase the export of Vietnamese goods and services to China and ASEAN countries.

The Vietnam national pavilion has the theme “Beautiful City” – introducing Ho Chi Minh City, promoting the trade, investment, culture and tourism potential of this city in particular and Vietnam in general with an area of 160 m2.
The trade pavilion of Vietnamese enterprises has the participation of 120 enterprises, with a total area of about 5,000 m2 (about 200 booths). Also a business in the Central Highlands of Vietnam, Nghiep Xuan Import Export Trading Company, Dak Nong province specializes in providing fresh and frozen fruits such as frozen durian segments, frozen seedless and seeded passion fruit juice, frozen mango, etc. Through market research, the company found that its products are completely suitable for the Chinese market, especially frozen durian segments.

The 21st ASEAN - China Trade Fair is an annual trade promotion event organized by the Ministry of Industry and Trade of Vietnam. Over the years, CAEXPO has become a prestigious event, where Vietnamese enterprises attend to promote and introduce their products, a destination for business and investment startups between the two countries' markets.
