TPO - Thousands of people and tourists flocked to the square of Me Linh district's administrative area to enjoy, admire, and take photos at the largest flower festival in the North on the weekend.

| The 2nd Me Linh Flower Festival was held with the theme "Me Linh is brilliant with flowers" at the Me Linh District Administrative Center Square (Hanoi) starting from the evening of December 26. However, the largest flower festival in the North "exploded" in the last days with a huge number of visitors coming to admire and take photos. |

According to the People's Committee of Me Linh district, more than 200 tons of fresh flowers are displayed in 10 main categories of the festival. Of which, 8 miniature landscapes are decorated with fresh flowers from the district and imported flowers, on a scale of nearly 10,000m2. |

Besides roses, many flowers are used by gardeners for decoration such as chrysanthemums, gerberas, petunias, phalaenopsis orchids, gerberas, poinsettias, bougainvillea, etc. |

This is the second year Me Linh district has organized the Flower Festival, to display and introduce flowers, flower products, and ornamental plants of the district to tourists from all over. |

"I learned about the festival through information on social networks and I decided to bring my whole family here for the weekend. I feel that the flower festival here is really grand, eye-catching and impressive, no less than Da Lat," said Ms. Quynh Lan (Me Linh district, Hanoi). |
