Quang Ninh set out, aiming for promotion to First Division in 2025 season

At the ceremony, Quang Ninh Football Club introduced the list of squad participating in the 2024 National Second Division tournament and announced the new jersey design.

On behalf of the leaders of Quang Ninh Provincial People's Committee, Ms. Nguyen Thi Hanh acknowledged and commended the company members, the coaching staff and the players, and asked them to make efforts towards the goal of promotion.

“To achieve the goal, I propose and assign tasks to departments, branches, sectors and the People's Committee of Cam Pha City and the Quang Ninh Football Fans Association to pay attention, support, accompany and create the best conditions for the team to compete at their best when playing at home and away. In particular, matches at Cam Pha Stadium must be decorated, civilized, polite, showing the spirit of the Mining Region people, besides, solutions must be implemented to ensure security, safety, medical work, serving the players and spectators who come to watch and cheer,” said Ms. Nguyen Thi Hanh.

Quang Ninh used to be the football team with the most professional and enthusiastic fan club in V-League.

Chairman Ha Tuan Dung of Quang Ninh Club affirmed that the team's goal is to be promoted to the First Division in 2025/26. According to Mr. Tuan, the tournament brings together many strong and ambitious opponents such as Bac Ninh FC, PVF-CAND Youth or Hanoi Youth. Therefore, the club hopes to receive support from fans.

The 2025 National Second Division began on April 11, with two groups A and B. Quang Ninh Club is in Group A with PVF-CAND Youth, PVF FC, Bac Ninh FC, Hoai Duc FC, Hanoi Youth and Phu Tho FC. The first and second teams in the group will be promoted. The team with the lowest record in the tournament will be relegated.

In the opening match, Quang Ninh Club will meet Bac Ninh FC at Tu Son Stadium on April 16.
