Thousands of contract teachers in Thanh Hoa are about to receive their salaries.

On March 28, speaking with Thanh Nien reporter, Mr. Le Quang Hung, Director of Thanh Hoa Department of Finance, said that the department's professional department is completing procedures to allocate money to districts to pay salaries, allowances and contributions to teachers who have been owed salaries since January 2025.

According to Mr. Hung, the People's Committee of Thanh Hoa province has made a decision on allocation, so in the next few days, after completing the procedures, teachers will receive their full salaries.

Recently, the People's Committee of Thanh Hoa province decided to add nearly 53 billion VND to support the payment of salaries, allowances and contributions for contract workers working as teachers according to Decree 111/2022/ND-CP dated December 30, 2022, regulating contracts for certain types of jobs in administrative agencies and public service units. The source of expenditure is from education, training and vocational training.

Thanh Hoa Provincial People's Committee assigned Thanh Hoa Department of Finance together with State Treasury of Region X to inspect, control and carry out professional procedures to fully allocate funds to localities; District People's Committees use funds allocated to workers on schedule, according to conditions, standards, etc.

Previously, as Thanh Nien reported, since January, thousands of teachers who signed labor contracts under Decree 111 have not received their salaries, making their lives difficult.
