The unit processed procedures for 17,808 declarations, with a total import-export turnover of 2.4 billion USD; an increase of 73% in declarations and 54% in turnover compared to the same period in 2023.
In February 2024 alone (from January 16 to February 15, 2024), 590 enterprises participated in customs procedures at Quang Ninh Customs, with 11,208 declarations, the total turnover of all types was 1.6 billion USD.
Also in February, Quang Ninh Customs collected 1,661.16 billion VND for the budget, an increase of 20% compared to the previous month.
As of February 15, 2024, this unit's budget revenue reached VND 2,346.52 billion, reaching 18.05% of the target assigned by the People's Committee of Quang Ninh province (VND 13,000 billion).
In particular, in February 2024, Quang Ninh Customs organized joyful and healthy Lunar New Year celebrations, ensuring safety and economy; at the same time, focused on directing the implementation of work from the first day after Tet holiday, ensuring smooth public service activities.
Notably, the unit has issued a Plan to implement solutions to combat fraud, counterfeiting of origin, illegal labeling of goods, illegal transshipment and infringement of intellectual property rights in 2024; a Plan to support, accompany and attract businesses; and organized a Conference on dialogue and consultation between Customs - businesses and relevant parties in 2024.
