Promoting local youth

In the effective grassroots Youth Union activities in recent times, the youth of Ward 7, Ben Tre City are considered one of the quite prominent forces and localities with many highlights and typical results. In particular, the important role of the "leader" of the Youth Union here must be mentioned. That is Mr. Le Thanh Hung - Secretary of the Ward Youth Union, Chairman of the Vietnam Youth Union - Chairman of the Council of the Ward 7 Youth Union. With the enthusiasm of youth and the spirit of innovation and creativity, Mr. Hung has oriented and together with the Standing Committee of the Ward Youth Union, the young people have organized typical models and good practices such as: "Kind deeds" Club model, "0 VND meal" activities, "Friends of the Youth Union", "Green Volunteer Group" ... Directing the Youth Unions and School Youth Unions to organize and implement well the contents such as: "Eco-bricks", "Waste classification at source", "The second life of plastic waste" ...

He himself, together with the Standing Committee and the Executive Committee of the Ward Youth Union, proposed programs and movements for the local Youth Union, proactively advised the Party Committee on the Youth Union models to be implemented, asked for policies and organized implementation, from which the models and movements had unique characteristics and the mark of local youth. Typically, the "Spring Volunteer Program" asked for policies from the Party Committee to mobilize grassroots Youth Union branches located in the area to support funding to take care of children with disabilities, lonely elderly people, and young people in poor and near-poor households. Promote the role of the "Youth with the Law" Club; step up propaganda in schools on familiar topics such as: the harmful effects of electronic cigarettes and online games, friendship, love and prevention of school violence. Directing the Youth Union to launch 108 projects, youth work, activities such as "Volunteer Saturday", "Green Sunday", "Day for garbage-free streets", "Volunteer day for building new rural areas, civilized urban areas", "Propaganda bicycle" activities... Along with that, Ward 7 Youth Union also carried out well the work of "Repaying gratitude - Remembering the source of water when drinking"...

Through many outstanding and effective activities, the Youth Union - Association of Ward 7 has received high appreciation and rewards from all levels. Mr. Le Thanh Hung personally received many awards such as: Certificate of Merit from the Central Committee of the Vietnam Youth Union for the October 15 Award (2023); Certificate of Merit from the Provincial People's Committee for outstanding achievements in the association's work and the provincial youth movement for the 2019-2024 term; Certificate of Merit from the Provincial Executive Committee of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union for the title of "Outstanding Dong Khoi Youth" in 2024 and many other local awards.

Exemplary People's Police Officer

With the will of a people's police officer and the pioneering spirit of youth, Mr. Nguyen Truong Chinh not only performed his professional duties well but was also an exemplary Youth Union officer with many outstanding achievements. He used to work at the Traffic Police and Order Team - Thanh Phu District Police, holding the role of Deputy Secretary of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union of the District Police - Vice President of the Vietnam Youth Union of Thanh Phu District (he has just transferred to another job, continuing to perform professional duties in another unit).

From 2023 to 2025, he has proactively advised and proposed solutions to ensure traffic order and safety (TSA) and prevent and reduce traffic accidents (TSA). He has actively participated in all aspects of the unit's work, including patrolling, controlling and handling administrative violations of traffic order and safety 320 times, responding quickly, participating in investigating and resolving 18 TSA cases; participating in coordinating the implementation of 12 plans to survey unreasonable traffic organization; propagating and guiding traffic laws...

Along with that, Mr. Chinh has promoted the role of propagandist and reporter at the unit. He has built and implemented the initiative "Improving the quality of propaganda and legal education". Deploying the model of "Mobile propaganda" - proactively compiling and recording 32 articles on traffic law propaganda, preventing the harmful effects of alcohol and beer to broadcast mobile in densely populated areas.

In particular, he has proactively advised on developing a plan to propagate and educate young people at risk of violating the law in the district (from 2023 to 2025, he has participated in coordinating education and reminding 302 subjects). In addition, Mr. Chinh also coordinated well in organizing social security activities such as receiving support for 2 heroic Vietnamese mothers (Thanh Hai commune); mobilizing to give school supplies to students in difficult circumstances at primary and secondary schools in the district; coordinating with the District Police mass organizations to support 115 water tanks for people affected by drought and salinity; visiting and giving 50 gifts to policy families in My An commune...

With his active and effective contributions, Mr. Nguyen Truong Chinh has been awarded many awards at all levels. In particular, he achieved the title of cadre and party member who has excellently completed his tasks for many years (from 2019 - 2024); achieved the title of Emulation Fighter at the grassroots level and a certificate of merit from the Provincial Police Director for his outstanding achievements in the emulation movement "For National Security" in 2020, 2023 and 2024. He was awarded a certificate of merit by the Central Youth Union for his outstanding achievements in studying and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and style in the period of 2022 - 2024; the Provincial Party Committee commended the party member with outstanding achievements through the preliminary summary of 3 years of implementing Directive No. 01-CT/TU of the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee; achieved the title of "Advanced Youth Following Uncle Ho's Teachings" of the province in 2024; the title of "Outstanding Dong Khoi Youth" of the province in 2024, along with many other awards.
