The entire district has only 212 households whose gardens and houses are flooded, and 9,374 students in 22 schools are still temporarily out of school due to the floods. The main traffic routes in the district have basically been cleared, making it easier for forces to access the scene and overcome the consequences of the floods.
The Provincial Police Youth Union supports Huong Thuy Kindergarten (Ha Tinh) to clean up mud after the flood.
During the day, the Youth Union of Huong Khe District Police and Ha Tinh Provincial Police came to support and help people and schools clean mud, spray and wash flooded tables, chairs, and classrooms. It is expected that today, November 2, schools in Huong Khe District will return to normal classes.
As of the evening of November 1, district authorities were still actively searching for a resident of Ha Linh commune (Huong Khe district) who had been swept away by floodwaters since noon on October 30.
