On the morning of December 18, speaking with Dan Tri reporter, a representative of Road Traffic Police Team No. 7 (Traffic Police Department, Hanoi City Police) said that the unit is verifying and searching for the truck driver who intentionally knocked down two people on a motorbike on Nguyen Xien Street and then fled.
"We have invited the victim to the headquarters to work, and today they will go to the police station to report," said a representative of Traffic Police Team No. 7.

It is known that the incident happened on December 16, on Nguyen Xien Street, near Eco Green apartment building.
Previously, a clip appeared on social media recording the scene of a truck driver intentionally running over two people on a motorbike on Nguyen Xien Street and then running away.
According to the image in the clip, the motorbike taxi with license plate 21B2-124.xx was carrying a female passenger traveling from Khuat Duy Tien intersection to Linh Dam. When reaching the above location, the motorbike was suddenly hit by a white truck (license plate and driver unknown) and fell onto the road.

It is worth mentioning that after the collision, the truck driver did not stop but continued driving straight, leaving the two victims on the road.
Mr. HMH, a motorbike taxi driver, said that the incident happened at 10:52 a.m. on December 16. At that time, Mr. H. was driving a motorbike when he suddenly heard the driver of a white car honking behind him.
According to Mr. H., at that time he was startled and turned around to ask the truck driver what kind of way he was walking, and was cursed by the truck driver. After that, the truck driver threatened and crashed into Mr. H.'s motorbike.
