Hanoi: A series of meaningful activities to support workers during Workers' Month

Accordingly, the Capital Trade Union at all levels focused on organizing the programs: "Creative workers, confidently entering the new era"; "May dialogue"; "Thank workers"; organizing the peak month for developing union members, establishing grassroots unions; introducing the development of party members for workers; the program "Propaganda, raising awareness of union members and workers"...

At the city level, the notable highlight is that the City Labor Federation organizes the following activities: Coordinating the organization of the launching ceremony of Workers' Month and the Month of Action on Occupational Safety and Health (OSH) in 2025, commemorating the 139th anniversary of International Labor Day (May 1, 1886 - May 1, 2025); Conference on contact and dialogue between the Chairman of the City People's Committee and workers in 2025; organizing the commendation of Excellent Workers of the Capital in 2025; disseminating knowledge, health examination and consultation - reproductive health care for workers in industrial parks and export processing zones.

In addition, the City Labor Federation promotes activities of visiting and giving gifts to workers and families of workers who have had work accidents, occupational diseases, or are in difficult circumstances.

This year, the theme of the Action Month on Occupational Safety and Health is “Strengthening assessment, identifying hazards and risks and proactively implementing measures to ensure occupational safety and health at the workplace”; the theme of the Workers’ Month is “Vietnamese workers take the lead in entering a new era”.

The launching ceremony of the Month of Action on Occupational Safety and Health and Workers' Month 2025 is expected to be held on April 18, 2025 at Phung Khac Khoan flower garden, Lien Quan town, Thach That district, Hanoi, with about 1,000 delegates attending.

These are two of the activities that encourage workers to actively study, improve their qualifications and skills, access modern labor trends, adapt to the context of international integration and the Fourth Industrial Revolution, and prepare for a new development stage of the capital and the country.
