Accordingly, the Tay Ho Half Marathon 2025 will take place on April 13. 2025 marks the 5th anniversary of the Tay Ho Half Marathon. With an expected number of 12,000 runners, the race continues to affirm its position as one of the largest half marathon events in Vietnam.

Sharing with the media, Vice Chairwoman of Tay Ho District People's Committee Bui Thi Lan Phuong - Head of the Organizing Committee, affirmed: "Tay Ho Half Marathon 2025 is not only a race but also a journey connecting the history, culture and sportsmanship of Hanoi. Over the past 5 years, the tournament has become a symbol, attracting thousands of participants each year".

Director of Vu Media Joint Stock Company Vu ​​Van Phong - Deputy Organizing Committee, emphasized: "With careful preparation from the Organizing Committee, Tay Ho Half Marathon 2025 brings a series of innovations, from optimized routes to unique medal designs... promising to create a memorable season, contributing to promoting the sports movement and improving community health".

With the desire to bring the most complete season, Tay Ho Half Marathon 2025 continues to improve and upgrade the athlete experience with a series of new features. The running route passes through places with strong heritage imprints such as Quan Thanh Temple, Tran Quoc Pagoda, Tay Ho Palace, Nhat Tan peach village, where every step touches the stories of Thang Long, a thousand years old. The total prize value is up to 130 million VND in cash, along with hundreds of millions of VND in gifts from partners.

Notably, this year, the race’s unique medal will be shaped like a flower with five brilliant petals, symbolizing Tay Ho 5 seasons - Tay Ho 5 seasons of flowers. The race is expected to spread the beauty of the capital as well as connect, inspire and spread the spirit of sports to tens of thousands of people.

This year, the tournament has the participation of many Vietnamese athletes, notably the case of Nguyen Thi Oanh. Sharing with the media, Nguyen Thi Oanh said: “I have participated in the Tay Ho Half Marathon, but this year's tournament has a special meaning as it celebrates the 5th anniversary of the race with increasing specialization. This is a tournament worth experiencing. I just participated in another race a week ago, so I am actively recovering to participate in this race on April 13. I hope the athletes will be in good health to compete.”
