Nguyen Hue High School for the Gifted lowered the admission scores for specialized classes in Russian (down 1.2 points, to 37.0 points), French (down 0.35 points, to 37.85 points), Math (down 0.75 points, to 36.0 points), Information Technology (down 0.25 points, to 35.75 points), Biology (down 1.5 points, to 37.0 points).

Chu Van An High School for the Gifted lowered the scores of specialized English classes (down 0.25 points, down to 40 points), Biology classes (down 0.5 points, down to 37.5 points). The standard score for the additional French bilingual class decreased 1.25 points, down to 48.0 points.

The Hanoi Department of Education and Training noted that for specialized classes and French bilingual classes, when lowering the admission score, the school is allowed to accept students with the second choice who meet the admission requirements. Students who pass the second choice must have an admission score at least 1 point higher than the school's additional admission score.

For the dual baccalaureate class, the admission score for the second additional wish of the dual baccalaureate pilot program is equal to the admission score for the first wish.

The Hanoi Department of Education and Training requires that the admission of additional admitted students be carried out directly at high schools (during office hours) from 8:00 a.m. on July 11 to 5:00 p.m. on July 14.

Principals of specialized high schools and high schools with specialized classes, based on the additional admission standards, organize the admission of admitted students according to the Admission Regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training and the Admission Guidelines of the Hanoi Department of Education and Training.
