Nearly 100 documents and images of Hanoi are being introduced at the exhibition "Thang Long - Hanoi: Heritage of connection and convergence" at the Summer Palace World Heritage Site in Beijing, China.
The exhibition is organized by the Thang Long - Hanoi Heritage Conservation Center in collaboration with the Beijing Park Management Center and the Summer Palace Management Office.

This is a meaningful activity to celebrate 30 years of cooperation between Hanoi and Beijing, the exhibition introduces the unique cultural and historical values of Thang Long - Hanoi along with rich and diverse tangible and intangible cultural heritages.
Along with the exhibition, the scientific seminar "Beijing - Hanoi, connecting to promote heritage values" is an opportunity for scientists and experts to discuss issues of protecting and inheriting cultural heritage values in the two cities.
The seminar focused on discussing policies and strategies for preserving and promoting the values of heritage sites in Beijing and Hanoi; sharing experiences in researching, preserving, and restoring palaces and promoting the multifaceted values of heritage sites in Beijing and Hanoi; and providing scientific consultation on the orientation for research, preservation, and promotion of the values of the World Heritage Site of the Central Sector of the Imperial Citadel of Thang Long - Hanoi.
On this occasion, the delegation of Hanoi city surveyed and exchanged experiences in developing cultural industry and innovation at Long Phuc Tu, Dong Thanh district (Beijing).
The delegation was introduced to and learned about some models of cultural industry development and creative design that Dong Thanh district has implemented in recent times.
It is expected that next September, the public in Hanoi and the whole country will also be able to access and admire the unique cultural heritage of Beijing through an exhibition in Hanoi.
