Ha Long: Best prepare conditions to complete model congresses for 4 affiliated party committees

On the afternoon of January 6, the Standing Committee of the Ha Long City Party Committee held a conference to listen to and give opinions on the congress records of the units organizing model congresses for the Party Committees under the Ha Long City Party Committee, term 2025-2030.

Comrade Vu Quyet Tien, Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Secretary of Ha Long City Party Committee, spoke at the conference.

Pursuant to Directive No. 35-CT/TW dated June 14, 2024 of the Politburo, Plan No. 349-KH/TU dated July 23, 2024 of the Provincial Party Committee on organizing Party Congresses at all levels towards the 16th Provincial Party Congress, term 2025-2030 and Plan No. 350-KH/TU dated July 25, 2024 of the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee on organizing Party Congresses at all levels towards the 26th City Party Congress, term 2025-2030, Ha Long City decided to select 4 Party Committees to organize model congresses, including: City Military Command; Hong Hai Ward; Thong Nhat Commune and Quang Ninh Thermal Power Joint Stock Company. At the same time, the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee established a Working Group to direct the model congresses.

In line with the directives of the Central and the province, the preparation work for organizing the model congresses of the above 4 Party Committees has been seriously, urgently and thoughtfully carried out by Party Committees at all levels. Up to this point, 4/4 Party Committees have basically completed all the records and documents serving the organization of the grassroots Party Congress for the 2025-2030 term; developed specific plans on time, location, delegates, personnel plan for the Party Executive Committee, Party Committee Inspection Committee; and progress of organizing Party cell congresses. All contents are in accordance with regulations and instructions. The plan is to carefully prepare the conditions to complete the organization of the Congresses of village and ward Party Cells before January 15, 2025; Congresses of Party Cells directly under the grassroots Party Committees before February 28, 2025.

In order for the organization of the model congresses of the 4 Party Committees under the Ha Long City Party Committee to take place in accordance with regulations and successfully, Comrade Vu Quyet Tien, Member of the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee, Secretary of the Ha Long City Party Committee, requested the Working Group to direct the model congresses and comrades in the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee to continue to review in detail and carefully the preparation and organization of the congresses of the Party Committees to give opinions and specific instructions on decoration and celebration work. For political reports and component reports, they must be full of content, comprehensive, with in-depth discussions that go into the core of the issues. At the same time, regularly guide, urge, inspect, and supervise to promptly detect and direct the removal of difficulties and obstacles right from the grassroots level and grasp the people's situation, orient public opinion; Well implement the work of organizing, disseminating and propagating the Party's viewpoints, policies and guidelines on Party Congresses at all levels, thereby creating a joyful, exciting and trusting atmosphere for cadres, party members and the general public towards the Congress.

Also at the conference, the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee listened to and commented on a number of important contents: Report on the results of implementing solutions to prevent state budget loss in the city; Draft directive document of the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee on strengthening leadership and direction of state budget collection in the area; Master plan at a scale of 1/500 for the project to renovate and upgrade Minh Ha road (Ha Tu ward) and the road connecting to the new construction area of Vu Van Hieu High School in Ha Phong ward and personnel work.
