Nowadays, many families who only have daughters have overcome gender stereotypes and the notion that they must have a son to build and nurture happiness together. For them, whether it is a boy or a girl, as long as they have a healthy child, raise them well, and study well, that is enough to be fulfilled. This affirms that happiness does not come from having a son or a daughter, but rather from loving and educating children in a way that ensures that children develop comprehensively in health, intelligence, spirit, and morality.

Girls are the pride of the family.

Gender inequality is the fundamental cause of increasing gender imbalance at birth, and on the contrary, gender imbalance will deepen the problem of gender inequality, and adolescent girls are the most vulnerable. Therefore, it is necessary to create conditions for them to enter adulthood safely and equally. When they are empowered to decide their own lives, they have more opportunities to develop their potential, becoming positive factors creating change in their families, communities and countries. Therefore, protecting the rights of girls today is ensuring a fairer future. This meaningful message aims to call on the whole world to give more opportunities to girls and raise awareness about gender inequality including areas such as education, nutrition, health, protection from discrimination, violence and no more child marriage...

They have a right to a safe, healthy and educated life, not only during their critical formative years but also as women. If cared for during adolescence, girls have the potential to change the world, becoming tomorrow’s workers, mothers, entrepreneurs, mentors, family leaders and political leaders in society.
