Google Search Takes a New Level with New AI Features
Google is also enhancing its search options to make it easier for people to find what they want when shopping online. Users can now search by filters like style, color, and model across retailers.
To do this, Google has launched a new virtual try-on tool that shows how the same shirt will look on a variety of different models. The program uses generative artificial intelligence (AI) techniques to show how the fabric fits and styles. Currently, the technology is only available when buying shirts at select retailers like H&M, Everlane, Anthropologie, and Loft.
Google is also rolling out a number of new travel-focused features. The company is expanding Immersive View, a tool that lets you explore 3D models of a city (including Florence, Venice, Dublin, and Amsterdam), and giving users up-close and personal access to 500 other landmarks around the world. Immersive View already exists in cities like Tokyo and New York, as well as hundreds of attractions.
Additionally, when planning a trip, users can also access AI-generated summaries of different locations from articles, reviews, and photos.
