Google, a subsidiary of Alphabet, is developing artificial intelligence (AI) technology that can manage web browsing to complete tasks such as searching for information and shopping, according to a report by The Information on October 26.
The project, codenamed “Project Jarvis,” is expected to launch in December alongside the latest version of the next-generation Gemini large language model. Users will be able to assign Jarvis complex tasks that were previously done manually, such as analyzing information and completing online tasks.
Designed to work on the Chrome browser, Jarvis is capable of taking continuous screenshots and analyzing them to make decisions like clicking or typing.
