"Currently, the district is continuing to implement many key projects, some of which are still stuck in compensation for site clearance, specifically in terms of policies and compensation prices. A typical example is the Bung Lao Central Market project with a total land area of over 6,600m2 recovered from 26 households, individuals and 1 organization. Up to now, 20/26 households have received money and handed over the land. The remaining 6 households along National Highway 279 have not agreed with the approved compensation price and have requested compensation for land at the current price of buying and selling in the commune. The district and commune Party Committees and authorities are actively propagating and mobilizing people to understand this issue and promptly hand over the site to the construction unit," said Mr. Bui Ngoc Quang.
Not only Muong Ang district, in recent years, Dien Bien Phu city has been the locality focusing on implementing many key projects (60m Road Project, Framework Technical Infrastructure Project, Dien Bien Airport Construction and Expansion Investment Project; resettlement sites under the Dien Bien Airport Construction and Expansion Investment Project; resettlement sites under the 60m Road Project, Northern Mountainous Urban Program Project, Dien Bien Phu City...). To remove difficulties and ensure the progress of key projects, the city's Party Committee and government regularly coordinate with functional agencies to remove obstacles so that the projects can be completed on schedule.

Therefore, to solve this problem, in the past time, the Department has advised the Standing Committee, the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee to strengthen direction, guidance, propaganda, and orientation of public opinion on the Party's policies, the State's policies and laws; policies and decisions of ministries, central branches, provinces and cities in the process of implementing projects. Establish propaganda teams for key projects in the area (including ongoing projects, approved projects preparing for implementation). Strengthen the grasp of public opinion in the area where projects are being implemented. For large and complicated projects, promptly coordinate to handle, orient information, and propagate appropriately.
In practice, over the past time, the Party Committees and authorities at all levels have always made efforts to carry out the land acquisition and clearance work with many flexible and practical methods in each locality. Thanks to that, in just the past few years, implementing the land acquisition and clearance work, the Party Committees and authorities at all levels have propagated and mobilized 1,305/1,305 households with an area of 169.85 hectares to serve the Dien Bien Airport Expansion Investment Project; remove difficulties in the 60m Road; the Framework Technical Infrastructure Project... In many localities, people have also voluntarily donated large areas of land to build works serving the people such as: building cultural houses, building schools, new rural roads, concrete roads within the village... without requiring compensation or support from the State. These are the results of the efforts, determination, fierceness, and relentless efforts of the entire political system.
