On the afternoon of February 7, General Secretary To Lam attended and gave directions on many important contents at the handover conference of the work of the Chairman of the 13th Central Inspection Commission.

On the afternoon of February 7, the Central Inspection Commission held a conference to hand over the work of the Chairman of the 13th Central Inspection Commission.

The conference was attended by General Secretary To Lam. Also attending were Politburo members: Permanent member of the Secretariat Tran Cam Tu; Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Chairman of the Central Inspection Commission Nguyen Duy Ngoc.

Speaking at the Conference, General Secretary To Lam emphasized that this handover is necessary to ensure continuous, methodical work, inherit and maintain the operations of the Central Inspection Commission.

“The Party’s inspection and supervision work plays an important role in the Party’s leadership and Party building work, contributing to maintaining discipline and improving the capacity, efficiency and fighting strength of our Party. The Party plays a leadership role, and leadership requires inspection,” General Secretary To Lam stated.

General Secretary To Lam said that over the years, the Central Inspection Commission and the Party inspection sector have made many important contributions to the Party's leadership, Party building, improving the Party's leadership capacity, maintaining solidarity and unity within the Party and strictly implementing the Party's charter, guidelines and regulations, especially in detecting, preventing and strictly handling violations, contributing to strengthening people's trust in the Party and the State.

“With such an important role, the Party Central Committee, the Secretariat, and the Politburo regularly take care of, build, and perfect the Central Inspection Commission to meet all requirements,” General Secretary To Lam emphasized, mentioning that many cadres have grown up from the Central Inspection Commission and have been trusted by the Party Central Committee and the Politburo and assigned higher responsibilities.

In order to continue to perfect the Central Inspection Commission, on January 23, 2025, the Party Central Committee unanimously elected Mr. Nguyen Duy Ngoc to hold the position of Politburo member and Chairman of the Central Inspection Commission to give Mr. Tran Cam Tu time to focus on performing the duties of the Standing Secretary of the Secretariat, especially when we are preparing for the Party Congresses at all levels towards the 14th National Congress of the Party. The Party Central Committee also elected 2 additional members of the Central Inspection Commission to hold the position of Deputy Chairman of the Central Inspection Commission.

This leadership personnel restructuring aims to contribute to strengthening the strength of the Central Inspection Commission, meeting the requirements and tasks in the new situation.

General Secretary To Lam acknowledged and highly appreciated the results and achievements of the Central Inspection Commission and the Party inspection sector in recent times, especially Mr. Tran Cam Tu, who after nearly 13 years of working with the Central Inspection Commission has demonstrated his steadfast political will, high sense of responsibility, and dedication to the Party's inspection and supervision work; together with the Central Inspection Commission, advised the Central Executive Committee, the Politburo, and the Secretariat to perfect the Party's inspection and supervision regulations; reviewed, concluded, and strictly handled many difficult, complicated, and unprecedented cases; contributed to building a clean and strong Party.

Regarding Mr. Nguyen Duy Ngoc, General Secretary To Lam emphasized that these are capable cadres, who have received basic and systematic training, have been trained, tested and matured from practice, from the grassroots to senior cadres of the Party, and have been assigned many very important tasks by the Party and State.

At the same time, we hope and believe that Mr. Nguyen Duy Ngoc will continuously improve his sense of responsibility, political courage, inherit and promote the experience of his predecessors, together with the collective of cadres, leaders, and civil servants of the Central Inspection Commission, and the entire Party inspection sector to excellently complete the assigned tasks.

According to General Secretary To Lam, currently, our Party is focusing on leading, perfecting, and organizing the political apparatus, organizing Party congresses at all levels towards the 14th National Party Congress, bringing the country into a new era - an era of wealth and prosperity.

Therefore, the tasks set for the inspection work, the inspection sector as well as the Central Inspection Commission are very important, with the goal of making our Party united, unified, properly implementing the Party's operating principles, ensuring good implementation of the Party's charter, platform, policies, guidelines, resolutions and directives, making the Party apparatus increasingly cleaner and stronger, capable of pioneering to lead the country into a new era.

Pointing out the three current tasks for the entire Party inspection sector, the General Secretary requested that, from the experience of the Party's inspection, supervision and disciplinary work in the past, it is necessary to evaluate and systematize common violations and loopholes in mechanisms and policies that have been pointed out to create a picture for cadres and Party members to look at so as not to violate or repeat violations like in the past.

It is necessary to focus the inspection and supervision work in the current period on the stages of supervision, prevention, guidance, and implementation organization. It is necessary to strengthen the grasp of the situation, warning and prevention of violations so that all policies, resolutions, and directives of the Party are implemented synchronously and seriously.

“To avoid having to deal with too many officials, that will be more successful. At the same time, through inspection and supervision, we must do a good job of advising, overcoming loopholes and shortcomings in management work, and preventing violations,” the General Secretary requested.

The General Secretary emphasized that inspection and supervision must be regular, and the development of the inspection and supervision plan for 2025 needs to focus on major tasks such as: Streamlining and reorganizing the apparatus; orienting socio-economic and scientific and technological development; amending regulations and statutes to meet requirements, and opening up new management methods to meet requirements.

In particular, the key task of the inspection sector is to prevent cadres from deteriorating in political quality, moral lifestyle, self-evolution, and self-transformation from entering Party committees at all levels. Building a cadre team in general, especially strategic cadres, must be capable of shouldering the Party's responsibilities in the new period.

The General Secretary requested that the collective and leadership of the Central Inspection Commission must be a united and unified collective, leading the agency to successfully complete assigned tasks.

Focus on thoroughly educating the Central Inspection Commission's staff to fully and deeply understand the requirements for national development, the role, mission, and leadership methods of the Party.

From there, each officer clearly understands their responsibilities, constantly studies and practices, and meets the high requirements of the new era. The inspector must be truly exemplary, a shining example, impartial, objective... so that the inspected subjects are convinced.

General Secretary To Lam also requested the Central Inspection Commission to continue innovating the content and methods of inspection and supervision on the basis of promoting digital transformation and applying information technology in all aspects of work. Focus on building and synchronously connecting data, aiming at inspection and supervision based on data, in accordance with the requirements of the country's situation in the current period.

At the handover conference, congratulating Mr. Nguyen Duy Ngoc on being assigned a new position and responsibility by the Central Executive Committee, Standing member of the Secretariat Tran Cam Tu believes that with his high sense of responsibility and extensive work experience, Mr. Nguyen Duy Ngoc will quickly take over the job, make efforts and be determined to complete the work in the coming time.

Also at the Conference, Chairman of the Central Inspection Commission Nguyen Duy Ngoc affirmed that in his new position, he will be dedicated, wholeheartedly devoted to his work, inherit and promote the achievements of the Central Inspection Commission and previous generations of leaders, make every effort, and be determined to join the leadership of the Central Inspection Commission, cadres and civil servants of the Central Inspection Commission to achieve many achievements, worthy of the trust of the Party, State and people, meeting the requirements of tasks in the new situation./.
