Young people stay up all night at Dam Sen to celebrate New Year 2025

Thousands of people in Ho Chi Minh City and tourists from all over flocked to participate in the Countdown party, an indispensable event during the city's New Year. Many people came here very early, preparing blankets, tents... to wait to watch the fireworks.

People were present at Dam Sen Tourist Area since the afternoon to wait for fireworks to celebrate the New Year.

Present from 5pm, Ms. Phan Thi Thu (living in District 6, Ho Chi Minh City) said: "The city is so cold these days, so I brought a blanket to cover myself because the fireworks won't be launched until midnight. Every year I wait to see the fireworks."

Mr. Le Quoc Phong and his friends prepared a tent to protect themselves from the cold at night to watch the fireworks.

The spectacular fireworks display lasted for about 15 minutes, shot into the sky from the middle of Dam Sen Park, lighting up the vast space. The sparkling lights and brilliant colors intertwined, creating a colorful picture in the night sky.

Each firework exploded amidst cheers and applause from the crowd.

Quyen and her group of friends from Thu Duc said that this is not only a time to look back on the past but also an opportunity for each person to look to the future, set goals and dreams for themselves. From young couples, large families to groups of close friends, everyone is excited, full of energy and hope for a bright future.

Many children attended the Countdown event at Dam Sen and participated in many exciting games and experienced fun activities.
