The program "Collecting cartons, spreading green living" in 2024 of TH Group has a special highlight: It lasts the whole year and for each kilogram of milk cartons collected, TH will contribute 100,000 VND to coral conservation in Cat Ba National Park. The program has received more and more responses from customers, spreading awareness of environmental protection. "We need to heal, so does the environment" Every Sunday evening, Ms. Pham Hieu Ngan (25 years old), in Cau Giay, Hanoi, hangs on her motorbike more than 20 milk cartons that have been cleaned, dried and neatly folded. This is the number of milk cartons her family has thrown away in the past week. She does this so that on Monday at work, she can take advantage of her lunch break to bring them to TH true mart No. 6 Trang Tien (Hoan Kiem, Hanoi), 300m from the office, to participate in the program "Collecting cartons, spreading green living" implemented by TH Group. “ I have responded and accompanied TH “Collect cartons, spread green living” for more than 3 years. Now, keeping milk cartons, cleaning them and bringing them to TH true mart to submit, then scanning the code to win prizes has become a habit as well as a joy for me personally ”. On the occasion of the recent April 30-May 1 holiday, she and a group of friends organized a picnic in the suburbs, witnessing trash being thrown away haphazardly, causing pollution and ruining the beautiful natural landscape. Most of the trash is disposable items such as cups, bowls, chopsticks, spoons, bags or bottles… made of paper or plastic. “ At that time, I suggested to my friends to try a zero-littering trip. We proactively sorted and folded all the group’s trash, put them in large boxes to bring back to Hanoi instead of throwing them away at the campsite. All the paper milk cartons were brought to the TH true mart store to participate in the program “Collect cartons, spread green living” with TH true Milk” . After that "no littering" trip, Hieu Ngan's four friends, who had never cared about recycling waste, have completely changed. Now, they are united in collecting and recycling boxes, limiting littering every day. Like Hieu Ngan's friends, many young people of GenZ age have now learned and realized the harmful effects of plastic waste on the environment. Khue Anh, 25 years old in Cau Giay, Hanoi, stated: " If people have a need to be healed, so does the environment. Currently, we have practiced waste classification, throwing inorganic and organic waste in the right places . Batteries are stored separately. Favorite milk cartons after being used up will be cleaned and collected at a designated place for them. Each person only needs to consistently practice such small actions to promote recycling, and waste will become useful for life."

The canvas bag (which can be used multiple times, instead of disposable plastic bags) that TH Group gave to customers when participating in the program "Collecting boxes, spreading green living" has become Khue Anh's favorite item.

After 3 months of bringing milk cartons to the TH true mart system, Khue Anh received a cloth bag from the program "Collect cartons, spread green living". The young girl shared her joy when her small action was recognized and wished: " If more and more organizations and businesses implement a sustainable carton collection model like TH Group, it would be so convenient for those who love the environment! " Efforts for a green - clean - beautiful Vietnam In order to spread a green lifestyle in the community, raise awareness of environmental protection, the duration of the carton collection program at TH true mart has continuously increased, lasting longer every year. In 2022 - the campaign will be implemented for 2 months. In 2023, the program implementation time will increase to 6 months. Entering 2024, TH Group will organize an 11-month carton collection program, spreading the spirit of "green living" more strongly, contributing to implementing the extended producer responsibility (EPR). The special feature of "Collecting cartons, spreading green living 2024" is that for each kilogram of milk cartons that customers bring to the collection point, TH will contribute 100,000 VND to the coral reef conservation project in Cat Ba National Park. The total budget that TH Group plans to contribute to the project is up to about 300 million VND in 2024. Thanks to that, many sustainable conservation measures such as: monitoring the marine ecosystem; deploying coral nurseries to help restore degraded coral reefs; establishing a buoy system to protect coral reefs... are being effectively implemented by Cat Ba National Park and TH Group. Sharing the viewpoint of implementing environmental protection and biodiversity conservation activities of TH Group, Ms. Hoang Thi Thanh Thuy - Director of Sustainable Development said: “ From the very first day of establishment, TH Group has oriented towards sustainable development with the motto “Cherish Mother Nature”. We pursue the aspiration of a green - clean - beautiful Vietnam and strive to promote the circular economic model. In TH’s sustainable development strategy and policy, the environment is always an important pillar ”.
