Continuing the success of previous school years, in 2024, the provincial Education and Training sector achieved outstanding achievements, firmly affirming its leading position nationwide in education and training . These achievements have demonstrated the province's mechanisms and policies to invest in and care for the education and training career.
2024 is the second consecutive year that Vinh Phuc has ranked first in the country in terms of high school graduation exam results with an average score of 7.46 points. For the first time, 100% of 12th graders passed the high school graduation exam and had no failing scores in any subject; 1 top student in group D nationwide. 1 student has won a Silver Medal at the International Mendeleev Chemistry Olympiad. Notably, in the days before the Lunar New Year, Vinh Phuc students once again made their mark in the national excellent student selection exam for the 2024-2025 school year with 87/98 participating students winning prizes, accounting for 88.8%; ranked 2nd nationwide in terms of winning rate; of which, 1 student achieved the second highest score nationwide in Information Technology. The quality of excellent students in the province is constantly improving, many schools have outstanding achievements.
Along with the quality of key education, the quality of mass education in the province continues to be improved and makes a breakthrough; educational indicators are all in the top positions in the country. The 2018 general education program is implemented synchronously and effectively at all levels of education.
2025 is the final year of implementing the Resolution of the 17th Provincial Party Congress, this is also the first year to organize the High School Graduation Exam and the High School Entrance Exam according to the new general education program. Therefore, the provincial Department of Education and Training has carefully prepared for the two exams, at the same time, advised on the arrangement of school units in localities to ensure streamlining and efficiency.
The achievements of Vinh Phuc's education sector in 2024 will be a solid foundation for Vinh Phuc to continue to effectively innovate education, contributing to building a sustainable, advanced, and modern education system to enter a new era, an era of national growth.
