BAC GIANG - Faced with the situation of spontaneous scrap metal gathering and purchasing facilities operating in the area, the People's Committee of Song Khe Commune (Bac Giang City) coordinated with the Traffic Order Management Team, Construction and Urban Environment of the City to organize a peak period to clear and handle violations in these areas.

Through screening in Song Khe commune, there were 10 facilities for gathering and purchasing scrap that did not meet regulations and were illegally built on agricultural land. After being propagandized and mobilized by officials, 7 households voluntarily relocated. On August 8, the authorities focused on clearing 3 cases in Song Khe 2 and Liem Xuyen villages. At the same time, they made records and handled violations against 2 cases of encroachment on traffic corridors in the commune.

The peak period will last from now until August 30. Accordingly, the functional forces of the commune and the Traffic Order, Construction and Environment Management Team of the City will focus on inspecting and evaluating the compliance with the provisions of the Land Law, Business Law, Environmental Protection Law, and Fire Prevention and Fighting Law of scrap metal purchasing facilities in the commune.
