(CPV) - From 3:00 p.m. on September 5, the Ministry of Industry and Trade - Ministry of Finance decided to adjust gasoline and oil prices; accordingly, gasoline prices increased slightly, oil prices were adjusted both up and down.
Specifically, in this adjustment period, the price of RON 95-III gasoline increased by VND270/liter, reaching VND24,871/liter, and E5 RON 92 gasoline was VND23,471/liter, an increase of VND132/liter. This is the 6th consecutive increase in gasoline prices.
Prices of some oil products increased and some decreased. Specifically, diesel increased by 291 VND/liter, to 22,645 VND/liter. Kerosene increased by 505 VND/liter, with a new price of 22,814 VND/liter, and fuel oil decreased by 277 VND/kg, with a new price of 17,704 VND/kg.
In this operating period, in light of the above-mentioned developments in world oil prices and current regulations, the Ministry of Industry and Trade - Ministry of Finance decided not to set aside and not to spend the BOG Fund for all oil products.
Thus, since the beginning of the year, gasoline prices have undergone 25 adjustments; including 15 increases, 7 decreases, and 3 price changes. So far, compared to the beginning of the year, the price of E5 RON92 gasoline has increased by about VND2,600/liter; the price of RON95-III gasoline has increased by about VND2,700/liter.
