Tan Phuoc District: Many bright spots in socio-economic development

The trade and service sector remained stable, with 2,285 licensed businesses. Tourism activities continued to flourish, with 63,800 visitors visiting Dong Thap Muoi Ecological Reserve and Truc Lam Chanh Giac Zen Monastery.

According to comrade Tran Hoang Phong, Chairman of Tan Phuoc District People's Committee, the District People's Committee determined that 2025 is of great significance, a year of breakthrough to the finish line; the final year of implementing the Socio-Economic Development Plan for the period 2021 - 2025, the year of holding Party Congresses at all levels, towards the 14th National Congress of the Party. This is also the year of preparation, consolidation of fundamental factors, creating the premise for implementing the Socio-Economic Development Plan for the period 2026 - 2030.

According to comrade Tran Hoang Phong, these are important goals for the district to continue to make greater efforts, ensuring strong development and constantly improving people's lives. Not only focusing on economic growth rate, the district also pays attention to growth quality, sustainable development, environmental protection, capacity building, innovation in thinking, promoting dynamism, creativity, and determination to achieve efficiency in the political system.

Speaking at the working session with Tan Phuoc district on socio-economic development in 2025, comrade Tran Van Dung, member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Permanent Vice Chairman of Tien Giang Provincial People's Committee, expected Tan Phuoc district's determination to carry out the tasks in 2025.

The district aims for a growth rate of 18%; to achieve this goal, the district focuses on developing sustainable agriculture, guiding people to choose crops with high economic value, increasing income and developing production in a modern direction. At the same time, the district promotes the implementation of Tan Phuoc 1 Industrial Park and Thanh Tan Industrial Cluster to attract investment capital.
