Gold prices continue to fall

This morning (February 28), domestic gold prices continued to fall following world prices. Accordingly, gold prices fell to around 91 million VND/tael.

Saigon Jewelry Company listed price SJC gold bars 88.9 - 91.2 million VND/tael for buying and selling, down 100,000 VND/tael for both directions compared to yesterday morning.

Bao Tin Minh Chau Company Limited listed gold price SJC gold bars are priced at VND89.2 - 91.2 million/tael, down VND100,000/tael in both directions. However, the buying price of gold bars of this enterprise is VND700,000/tael higher than that of Saigon Jewelry Company.

Phu Quy Gold and Gemstone Group also listed the price of SJC gold bars at 89.2 - 91.2 million VND/tael for buying and selling.

The price of gold rings is higher than SJC gold.

Gold ring price also had a similar decrease. Specifically, the price of gold rings at Bao Tin Minh Chau is listed at 90.15 - 91.7 million VND/tael, down 50,000 VND/tael for buying and 100,000 VND/tael for selling compared to yesterday morning.

Phu Quy Jewelry Group listed the price of gold rings at 90 - 91.5 million VND/tael, down 100,000 VND/tael in both directions.

The price of gold rings is still 300,000 - 500,000 VND/tael higher than the price of SJC gold bars.

At the same time, the price of gold world listed at 2,876 USD/ounce, down 40 USD/ounce compared to the listed gold price this morning.

This morning, Bank State listed central rate at 24,696 VND/USD, up 28 VND compared to yesterday morning.

At commercial banks, copper USD Trading around 25,320 - 25,710 VND/USD for buying and selling.

On the free market, the USD price is at 25,718 - 25,778 VND/USD for buying and selling.

Thus, the USD buying price in the free market is 454 VND/USD higher than the bank channel.
