Long Bien District is expected to have 4 wards: Viet Hung, Bo De, Long Bien, Phuc Loi

According to the plan to collect public opinions, Long Bien district, consisting of 13 wards, will be arranged into 4 wards, of which one ward includes part of the administrative boundary of Co Bi commune, Gia Lam district.

Specifically, Thuong Thanh and Duc Giang wards and part of Viet Hung and Giang Bien wards merged into a new ward named Viet Hung.

Ngoc Thuy, Ngoc Lam, Gia Thuy, Bo De wards and part of Long Bien ward merged into a new ward named Bo De ward.

Cu Khoi Ward and part of Long Bien, Phuc Dong, and Thach Ban wards merged into a new ward named Long Bien Ward.

Phuc Loi Ward merged with the remaining parts of Viet Hung, Giang Bien, Phuc Dong, Thach Ban wards and part of Co Bi commune into a new ward named Phuc Loi ward.

On April 18, immediately after the plan was approved by competent authorities, the Long Bien District People's Committee issued instructions and started collecting public opinions on the plan to rearrange wards in the area. The subjects of the consultation were voters representing households residing in the wards of the district.

Long Bien District People's Committee requires that by April 20, 2025 at the latest, all wards must complete the work of collecting public opinions.
