
Last night's trading session, the world gold price increased by 0.9%, reaching 1,962.4 USD/ounce in the context of the USD price and US Treasury bond yields falling after the US consumer inflation data was lower than expected. At nearly 9:00 a.m. this morning, the gold price was trading at 1,961.8 USD/ounce, converted to be about 12.2 million VND/tael lower than the domestic gold price.
In the domestic market, at the opening session, Saigon Jewelry Company Limited listed the price of SJC gold bars at 69.6 million VND/tael (buy) - 70.4 million VND/tael (sell), an increase of 50,000 VND/tael each way compared to the end of November 14.
Vietnam Export Import Commercial Joint Stock Bank increased by VND300,000/tael (buying) and VND200,000/tael (selling), to VND69.66 million/tael (buying) - VND70.3 million/tael (selling).
The price of gold rings also increased. For example, Phu Nhuan Jewelry Joint Stock Company increased the price by VND100,000/tael (buying price) and VND150,000/tael (selling price), to VND58.7 million/tael (buying price) - VND59.8 million/tael (selling price).
Saigon Jewelry Company Limited listed the price of gold rings of type 1-5 only at 58.8 million VND/tael (buy) - 59.8 million VND/tael (sell), 200,000 VND/tael higher than the end of the previous day each way.
The common buying and selling price range for gold rings is around 1 million VND/tael, with the price of gold bars being 640,000-800,000 VND/tael.
