DNVN - On June 11, GELEX Group and FPT Group signed a memorandum of understanding on cooperation to promote comprehensive digital transformation, enhance the business efficiency of both sides and contribute to the country's economic development.
GELEX and FPT are expected to cooperate in four areas, including: comprehensive digital transformation activities from the Group level to GELEX's member companies; deploying telecommunications infrastructure for GELEX's real estate projects (residential, office, industrial parks); cooperating in investing in implementing Data Center projects; cooperating in the semiconductor sector: building facilities to serve research and development work and consortia inviting big names to Vietnam to research and develop this field.
Representatives of FPT Group and GELEX Group signed a cooperation agreement.
This cooperation helps both sides maximize their potential, support each other to develop more strongly in the Vietnamese and international markets, open up new opportunities for potential fields and attract investment cooperation from global partners.
Speaking at the ceremony, Mr. Nguyen Trong Hien, Chairman of GELEX Group said, “In-depth digital transformation, turning data into fuel is one of GELEX’s important strategies. GELEX is honored to become a partner with FPT - a Vietnamese technology group of international stature.”
Mr. Nguyen Trong Hien affirmed: “In 2023, the strategy of developing a partnership ecosystem with leading multinational corporations (domestic and foreign) has initially brought many positive values, such as cooperation with Frasers Property and Sembcorp Industries. GELEX will continue to promote this strategy in 2024 and the following years to bring the Group into global value chains, expand and upgrade product segments with higher added value for core areas, boost exports and aim to become the leading investment group in Vietnam”.
Mr. Nguyen Van Khoa - General Director of FPT Corporation hopes that through this cooperation, the two enterprises will provide suitable products and services for the ecosystems of both sides. In particular, FPT and GELEX will share corporate culture, promoting innovation through the core values of both sides. FPT will bring the experiences and successful formulas accumulated through major projects to contribute to the important transformation, serving the goals that GELEX is aiming for.
