Introduce and explain to visitors to the Museum about the values of natural resources |
The Central Coastal Nature Museum was established in 2009 and officially opened its specimen display space in 2020. Over the time of collection and production, the Museum is currently displaying more than 4,500 specimens of 6 main specimen sets: Geology - minerals, fish, insects, wild animals, forest wood, and captive butterflies. From these specimens, the Museum has displayed and introduced to the people and visitors about biodiversity and the value of biodiversity.
Since its opening, the Museum has attracted many researchers, organizations, projects, students, students... inside and outside the city and foreign organizations and projects to learn, experience and support development. The Museum also cooperates with local universities to sign cooperation agreements on both scientific research and sending students to teach directly at the Museum based on real artifacts. These activities also contribute to bridging communication and education to the community about natural resources as well as conservation work.

The Museum is open to visitors for free from Monday to Saturday during office hours, at 5 Diem Phung Thi Street, Vy Da Ward, Thuan Hoa District, Hue City.
