Continuing to issue and manage growing area codes for key agricultural products, since the beginning of the year, the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development of Phu Tho has issued 16 growing area codes for rice, bananas, tea, grapefruit, vegetables and dragon fruit with a total area of ​​nearly 567 hectares, bringing the total number of growing area codes to 267 with nearly 5,100 hectares in the whole province.

Nearly 567 hectares of agricultural crops are granted growing area codes.

25 hectares of tea of ​​the Clean Tea Production Association of Van Linh commune, Thanh Ba district are granted a growing area code, each year bringing to the market dozens of tons of dry tea, ensuring safety for consumers.

The Department of Agriculture and Rural Development has issued 1 code for a banana packaging facility for export to the Chinese market; 18 codes for grapefruit export to Russia and the United States; 9 codes for banana export to the EU and China; over 200 codes for domestic consumption of grapefruit, tea, banana, rice, and vegetable products; and 2.44 million stamps labeled for bananas and grapefruit.

Comrade Tran Tu Anh - Deputy Director of the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development said: "From now until the end of the year, the Department will focus on granting 200 more new growing area codes for tea, grapefruit, banana, and vegetables with a total area of ​​over 3,500 hectares. At the same time, we will effectively manage, inspect, and supervise growing areas that have been granted codes according to regulations; promote propaganda and training to raise awareness among producers about product traceability management, brand building, and trademarks..."
