Authorities had to use 26 trucks to move all the goods with signs of violations for handling.
On December 27, Market Management Team No. 25, Hanoi Market Management Department informed about the discovery of a very large fake cosmetics and functional food production facility, hidden in a chicken farm in Phuong Nghia village (Phung Chau commune, Chuong My district, Hanoi).
Accordingly, the Hanoi Market Management Force coordinated with the Economic Police Team, Chuong My District Police, Hanoi to inspect the business household owned by Mr. NVT in Phuong Nghia village (Phung Chau commune, Chuong My district). This location was previously a chicken farm.
At the time of inspection, the joint force discovered a large quantity of cosmetics in the form of creams, serums, skin care masks and functional foods labeled with foreign brands.
Along with that, the system of decanting and packaging products into boxes, bottles, and jars with brands such as: Ronas, Ultra-V, Vitamin E, Gamma, Royal retinol... shows signs of counterfeiting the origin and source.
The inspection team also discovered more than 6,200 boxes of finished products labeled Vitamin E Cream with Made in Australia on the label; 828 bottles of Gamma Linolenicacid Evening Primrose Oil with Canadian origin; 450 boxes of Ultra-V Premium Peeling, Made in Korea... along with a large number of plastic bottles, containers, labels and tons of raw materials of unknown origin used for production lying scattered on the ground.
According to Mr. Nguyen Phi Hien, Captain of Market Management Team No. 25, the estimated number of cosmetic products, functional foods with signs of counterfeiting and machinery and equipment for production is up to nearly 50 tons. "We had to use 26 trucks for many hours to be able to pack and move all the goods with signs of violations to the authorities," Mr. Hien shared, and said that the case has been transferred to the Criminal Police Department of Chuong My District Police for investigation and clarification.
