FPT promotes digital transformation application in schools

(Dan Tri) - Many AI applications have been effectively used by FPT staff and lecturers in organizing and managing self-study. These experiences and good practices from reality were shared at the FPT Educamp 2024 Conference held on December 8.

On December 8, at FPT Can Tho High School, FPT Corporation's education division organized the FPT Educamp 2024 Conference with the theme: "Organization and Administration of Self-directed Learning" (Self directed learning: organization and administration).

The presentations at FPT Educamp 2024 revolved around the topic of "Organizing and Managing Self-Study" and practical approaches in the educational environment at FPT or other educational institutions. Among them, the trend of applying AI and digital tools to improve the efficiency of organizing and managing self-study, increasing students' enthusiasm for learning emerged as a good approach, effectively implemented at FPT.

The AI ​​applications that FPT staff and lecturers have been applying in teaching include Chat GPT, AI-integrated chatbot, learning support platforms with AI applications in university majors such as software engineering, graphic design or specific subjects in high school such as English, History, Mathematics, STEM and robotics...

In addition, some technology-based learning methods such as social construction on the Edunext platform were also shared by FPT staff and lecturers on how to implement and optimize effectiveness at FPT Educamp 2024.

The papers delve into sharing the views and research of individual authors or groups of authors through the process of research and practical teaching on changes in teaching methods, learning methods, and organization of training units from the smallest scale such as individual students, to classes, schools and educational organizations including many levels and grades in the digital transformation era.

The objective of the discussions is to present effective methods and experiences for discussion, sharing, and finding appropriate directions to promote the application of technology in organizing and managing self-study, for the FPT training environment in particular and general education and university education in general.

In addition, from the role of teachers and training organizations, many FPT staff and lecturers have new perspectives on increasing students' enthusiasm for learning, thereby improving learning efficiency and encouraging lifelong self-learning. Topics such as experiential classrooms where students actively explore knowledge, mental health affecting self-learning ability, methods to create a balance between study and life, etc. are analyzed and discussed by reporters at FPT Educamp.

The workshop also attracted a number of presentations from reporters who are officials and lecturers from schools in the Mekong Delta region, sharing practical experiences typical of local training work.

FPT Educamp 2024 was attended by two plenary speakers, Dr. Le Truong Tung (Chairman of the Board of Directors of FPT University, FPT Corporation) and Prof. Dr. Huynh Van Son (Rector of Ho Chi Minh City University of Education). These speakers shared experiences drawn from the process of managing educational institutions, on organizational strategies, self-study management and creating learning motivation for students.

As an open education conference model, where speakers and attendees have many spaces to share open academic knowledge, FPT Educamp 2024 is expected to continue to create opportunities for learning, sharing research, and practical experience for FPT Corporation's education staff and lecturers. In addition, the conference contributes to the scientific research movement, the wave of strong digital transformation applications in education and training that is being deployed on a national scale.
