Accordingly, by implementing a series of solutions such as preventive maintenance, equipment condition-based maintenance, centralized maintenance to improve reliability and effectively exploit the RMS remote monitoring and diagnostic system, EPS Repair Workshops quickly detect and promptly fix incidents and abnormalities, ensuring reliable operation and availability for generators at 3 Power Centers: Phu My, Vinh Tan, Mong Duong. At the same time, the company promotes manufacturing and processing, proactively providing replacement and backup materials for equipment and systems in repair situations.

EPS completes 5 major repair projects of Phu My 2.1 Power Plant expansion cluster

In the first 6 months of the year, EPS Company cooperated with Phu My Thermal Power Company to complete 5 major repair projects of the Phu My 2.1 power plant expansion cluster, ensuring safety and quality, shortening the total progress by 17 days compared to the plan, contributing to the early return of the generator set, ready to meet mobilization during the peak dry season.

Currently, EPS Repair Workshops are performing periodic maintenance of Unit S2 - Mong Duong 1 Thermal Power Plant, and the first overhaul of Unit S3 - Vinh Tan 4 Power Plant. The company's goal is to ensure safety, quality, and progress of repair projects, contributing to the completion of the electricity supply task of Vietnam Electricity Group (EVN) and Power Generation Corporation 3 (EVNGENCO3) in 2024.

With repair service projects outside EVNGENCO3, up to now, EPS Company has 32 orders/contracts to provide services to 9 customers at Van Phong 1 Thermal Power Plant, Song Hau 1, Ca Mau 1...

From March 1, EPS has implemented an operation and maintenance (O&M) management contract with EVN to receive and operate Phu My 3 Power Plant. This is the first BOT power plant transferred to Vietnam, EVN after 20 years of operation under the BOT contract. Currently, the units are operating safely, reliably, economically and are ready to meet all operating modes according to the mobilization method of the National Power System Control Center.

The goal for the last 6 months of 2024 is that EPS Company will continue to coordinate with power generation units to perform regular maintenance and repair work well, ensuring the availability of generators; complete large-scale repairs in 2024; promote advantages and experience in providing services to large customers such as Thang Long Power Plant, Nghi Son 2 BOT Power Plant, etc. The unit also focuses on researching and applying solutions to improve the quality of maintenance and repair; develop recovery manufacturing; ensure electricity production at Phu My 3 Power Plant; prepare for the reception of Phu My 2.2 BOT Power Plant.
