According to the draft project, Quang Dien will reorganize 11 administrative units into 2 commune-level administrative units (Dan Dien commune and Quang Dien commune)...

Discussing at the conference, delegates basically agreed with the draft project on the arrangement of commune-level administrative units; choosing the plan to name the new commune-level administrative units, arranging the headquarters of the communes after the arrangement; ensuring harmony and suitability, based on factors of natural conditions, traffic infrastructure, area, population, plan for arranging commune-level officials after the arrangement, plan for arranging and handling headquarters and public assets after the arrangement of commune-level administrative units.

In his concluding remarks, Secretary of the Quang Dien District Party Committee Nguyen Thanh Minh requested Party committees and authorities at all levels to promote a sense of responsibility and perform well the assigned tasks. Communes and towns urgently implement plans to collect voters' opinions in accordance with regulations. At the same time, promote propaganda work to raise awareness of the Party's policies and guidelines on the purpose and significance of the extensive arrangement of administrative units among the people.
