'EDURACE 2025: Sports journey for the community - Honoring the spirit of dedication'

EDURACE 2025 Race: 21 Days of Spreading Community Values

The EDURACE 2025 online race, organized by the BMS Inter-level School System, took place from February 17 to March 9, 2025. With the message "Every step - An action for the community," the race attracted nearly 5,000 athletes from 52 provinces and cities across the country. The athletes accumulated a total of 160,761 km, demonstrating a strong sportsmanship and spreading positive energy.

Community project: Building a physical playground for children

Within the framework of the race, the Organizing Committee launched a fundraising campaign for the project to build a physical playground at Dong Mai 2 Primary School, a school with many difficulties in Ha Dong District. Each kilometer run by the best athletes was converted into money to contribute to this project. The event successfully raised funds, creating a safe and beneficial physical space for students.

Ms. Dao Thu Hien, Executive Director of BMS Inter-level School System and Head of the Organizing Committee of EDURACE 2025 , shared: "Each running step is not only an individual effort but also a symbol of the spirit of rising up, daring to challenge oneself and contributing to good values ​​in society. Through the race, we hope to make practical contributions to the future of children in difficulty. The achievements of this season are a mark in the journey of creating comprehensive development opportunities for Vietnamese children."

Honor and Award Ceremony: Honoring outstanding runners

The EDURACE 2025 Awards Ceremony honored outstanding individual and team athletes with award categories:

· Distance Award: Honors athletes who conquer distances from 21km to 300km.

· Inspiration Award: Honors 4 athletes who have lasted 21 days or achieved the highest results.

· "Building the Future" Award: For the Top 3 groups with the highest number of kilometers.

· "Go Green" Award: Honors the groups that achieve the highest average kilometers.

Athlete Nguyen Thi Huyen, "Queen" of Vietnamese athletics and Ambassador of EDURACE 2025, shared about the challenges when participating in the online race: "EDURACE 2025 brought Huyen extremely interesting and surprising experiences. As a professional athlete in short distances, Huyen is familiar with the running track in the stadium. But this time, for the first time Huyen was able to test herself on the road, conquering beautiful roads that she had never set foot on before. If in the competition, Huyen only ran 400m, then at EDURACE 2025, the distance was much longer, requiring endurance, perseverance and determination to overcome her own limits. What made Huyen happiest was that each step she ran contributed a small part to the charity fund, helping the children of Dong Mai 2 Primary School have a meaningful physical playground.

Thank you EDURACE 2025 for bringing Huyen such wonderful experiences. Huyen hopes to continue accompanying EDURACE in the following seasons.”
