The Railway Transport Operations Center manages the hotline phone number to ensure the following features: Recording calls, saving the caller's phone number. Receiving and processing information promptly, immediately notifying the responsible unit and position to handle according to VNR's current regulations on ensuring railway traffic safety.
VNR member units thoroughly instruct employees in the unit to strictly implement reporting and handling of reports in accordance with VNR's "Regulations on responsibilities of organizations and individuals participating in activities on national railways in handling railway traffic incidents and accidents".
Branches of locomotive enterprises, railway operators and Dong Dang station post the hotline number at their headquarters, station areas, locomotive stations, etc.; coordinate and work with localities where railways pass through to carry out communication and propaganda work on reporting via the railway traffic safety hotline widely to the people for information and feedback.
VNR also requires railway maintenance companies to post hotline phone numbers at railway crossings, such as guarded level crossings, automatic warning level crossings, automatic barriers, self-opening walkways, bridges, roads, etc.
Railway transport businesses post hotline phone numbers at workplaces and on trains.
"The railway will reward collectives and individuals inside and outside the industry who have achievements in informing and reflecting information that helps promptly prevent risks of railway traffic safety loss," VNR said.
