Mobilizing forces to support households in handing over construction sites for the Bien Hoa - Vung Tau Expressway Project

(DN)- On April 2, the Standing Committee of Bien Hoa City Party Committee directed relevant units, sectors and localities to mobilize forces to coordinate in supporting people to dismantle constructions and move assets to new residences to hand over clean land for the Bien Hoa - Vung Tau Expressway Project through Phuoc Tan Ward.

Accordingly, the Standing Committee of Bien Hoa City Party Committee assigned the City People's Committee to direct the Department of Health and the City Medical Center to promptly arrange doctors, vehicles, and medicines to support and provide medical care for cases where family members are sick but have to relocate.

For the Department of Education and Training, coordinate with schools in Phuoc Tan ward to review cases of students whose houses have to relocate, meet, encourage and create the best conditions for them to attend school regularly.

The Standing Committee of the City Party Committee assigned the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Bien Hoa City to preside over and coordinate with political organizations to send cadres, civil servants, and union members to coordinate with the Party Committee and People's Committee of Phuoc Tan Ward to support and help households dismantle and relocate assets to hand over the site for project implementation. At the same time, consider supporting difficult cases.

The City Labor Federation guides its affiliated grassroots unions to review cases of workers of companies and enterprises whose houses must be relocated in order to discuss and work with employers to arrange and create conditions for workers to take a certain period of time off to relocate their assets and new residence.

For Phuoc Tan ward, work with landlords to maintain stable rents and not increase rents to ensure stable lives for people.

Previously, from February 17 to March 31, the entire political system of Bien Hoa city focused on propagating and mobilizing people to understand the Party's policies and the State's laws on project implementation and completed the handover of the site. Thereby, 880 households were mobilized to agree to hand over the site, bringing the total number of households handing over the site through Bien Hoa city to nearly 92% of the total area that needs to be recovered to implement the project.
