Thu Duc City Book Street is located on Ho Thi Tu Street (Hiep Phu Ward, Thu Duc City) with an area of ​​3,508m2. After 1 year of construction, Thu Duc City Book Street has basically been completed. These days, workers and bookstore staff are rushing to finish decorating the stalls and grounds in time for the inauguration ceremony taking place tomorrow morning, December 22.

According to Dan Tri reporter, the gate to Thu Duc City Book Street at the intersection of Ho Thi Tu and Le Van Viet streets has been completed.

Thu Duc City Book Street is 190.6m long with nearly 20 stalls. The book street is conveniently located, near many universities, colleges and high schools.

Each booth has an area of ​​about 40 square meters, some have completed preparations for the opening day.

Mr. Dinh Viet Thai (24 years old), manager of the only used bookstore on Ho Chi Minh City Book Street, said that his booth is more than 98% complete. "For more than a week, my staff and I have been working at full capacity to make it in time for the opening day. Everyone is excited to wait for the day to welcome customers," said Mr. Thai.

A stall at Thu Duc City Book Street is also decorated for Christmas.

In addition to book stalls, the project also has a book cafe space, stage and ancillary works.

Dozens of workers are busy decorating the landscape and cleaning up before the opening day.

A group of workers are planting trees along the book street to create green space.

Chairs are being gathered to be arranged along the book street.

"As a citizen of Thu Duc City, I am very happy and proud to have contributed to creating a public work that beautifies the city like this," said Mr. Le Quoc Bao (residing in Thu Duc City).

In addition to reading and playing spaces, the book street also arranges exercise equipment and tools to serve the people.

Thu Duc City Book Street will be an outdoor cultural institution and a community activity center for people in Thu Duc City and neighboring areas. It is expected that the book street will operate from 9am to 10pm every day. This is a project responding to the peak activity of 500 days of emulation to celebrate the 95th anniversary of the Party's founding, the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South, the reunification of the country, and to welcome Thu Duc City into its fourth year of formation and development.
