Hotline to "troubleshoot" for tourists

In recent times, Binh Thuan Tourism Promotion Information Center has focused on promoting tourism, contributing to attracting more and more tourists to Binh Thuan. During peak tourist seasons, the tourist support hotline has been maximized, bringing sympathy to tourists.

Information promotion on the mass media system has spread widely and had a strong impact on domestic and foreign tourists. Through special reports on television, the internet, magazines, electronic newspapers, printed newspapers... the image, brand, and tourism products of Binh Thuan have been promoted very well, especially during the National Tourism Year with many activities taking place continuously, which have been promoted relatively well, creating an impression on domestic and foreign tourists. In particular, the work of supporting tourists has been basically effective through the hotline for supporting tourists managed and received by the center.

Mr. Nguyen Nguyen Vu - Head of the Business Department - Binh Thuan Tourism Promotion Information Center, who is also in charge of the tourist support hotline, said: "Every time we hear information that needs support, the center's specialists are always ready to handle situations to best support customers. The tourist support hotline via 2 phone numbers 02523.810801 and 02523.608.222 has been operating for 10 years now. When the tourist support information department was first established, staff were assigned to take turns to operate the hotline 24/7. Outside of business hours, if a tourist calls and no one answers, the call will be automatically transferred to a mobile number to receive the tourist's information as quickly as possible. The tourist support hotline is designed with a Vietnamese-English billboard, the hotline phone number is posted at tourist areas, sightseeing spots, public areas with many tourists, main roads of Phan Thiet city, key tourist routes of the province...

Up to now, the tourist support hotline has received hundreds of calls and the department in charge has answered the specific and detailed situations, promptly solving problems for domestic and foreign tourists in situations that need the fastest support. The tourist support department has received and handled the situations quickly and professionally, creating peace of mind and satisfaction for tourists.

In 2023 alone, the support department received and supported 49 calls from tourists via hotline numbers 02523.810801 and 02523.608.222 with the following contents: hotel information in Ham Tien - Mui Ne area, Tien Thanh, train tickets to Phu Quy, railway tickets, information on upcoming events in Binh Thuan, sightseeing addresses, service products - tourism, means of transport taxi, bus and tourists' feedback on the tourism environment, service quality... In addition, during the year, 3 guide boards introducing and promoting Binh Thuan tourism (QR code scanning board) were installed at the Binh Thuan Provincial Party Committee Base Relic Site (Dong Giang commune, Ham Thuan Bac district), the Bay Sand Hill scenic spot (Mui Ne ward area), Thac Ba Tourist Area (Duc Thuan commune, Tanh Linh district). Tourist support work has basically been effective through the tourist support hotline, Doi Duong Tourist Support Information Station...
