Mr. Bui Van Bao, Chairman of the People's Committee of An Thai Commune, said that the commune has planned a specialized rubber growing area, converting low-yield crop varieties to high-yield, disease-resistant varieties. At the same time, the locality has developed fruit orchards applying high technology (HDT), creating a foundation for sustainable economic development. The livestock industry is also organized according to the farm model, associated with environmental protection; at the same time, applying high technology helps control diseases, thoroughly treat waste, limit pollution, and ensure public health.

A typical example is the fruit tree growing model of U&I Agriculture Joint Stock Company in An Thai commune with an area of over 411 hectares, with crops such as tissue-cultured bananas, green-skinned grapefruit, melons, etc. Of which, melons and tissue-cultured bananas meet the 4-star OCOP (One Commune One Product) standard. This model creates regular jobs for more than 300 workers in the commune with an average income of 8 million VND/month. The model achieves after-tax profits of over 4.5 billion VND/year. The company also cooperates with households to guide planting techniques and product consumption. A representative of U&I Agriculture Joint Stock Company said that the fruit tree growing model strictly follows technical processes, ensuring biosafety and environmental sanitation. Fertilizers and pesticides are used at the right growth stage and season, helping the plants grow optimally. The cultivation process is fully recorded, ensuring traceability, improving product quality and economic efficiency.

Currently, farms in An Thai commune all apply modern technology such as smart greenhouses, drip irrigation systems, and remote-controlled misting systems via mobile applications, helping to reduce manual labor. GPS and GIS technology are used to analyze soil, forecast yields, monitor crop yields, detect pests early and handle them promptly. The leader of An Thai commune said that recently, the locality has coordinated with businesses and related units to train and coach farmers to access modern machinery and digital technology ; at the same time, promoting the digitization of production information, attaching QR codes to trace the origin of agricultural products, contributing to increasing product value and facilitating management.
