Actor Chi Trung hospitalized for surgery to remove 3 tumors

Artist Chi Trung shared an optimistic photo before entering the operating room to remove 3 tumors in his neck, armpit and shoulder.

Meritorious Artist Chi Trung just shared a video recording his image before entering the operating room at the Vietnam-Soviet Friendship Hospital, Hanoi on April 1. The artist received many inquiries and encouragement from friends and colleagues hoping for his quick recovery.

The Traffic Police said he had 3 tumors in his neck, armpit and shoulder, but they were all fatty so they were basically benign and did not seriously affect his health. At the age of 64, Chi Trung said he rarely went to the hospital and this time after the surgery he had to stay in the hospital to rest for a few days. Chi Trung said this was also an opportunity to reflect on life because the artist has lived 3/4 of his life.

Even though he was about to enter the operating room, the artist remained optimistic and kept smiling in front of the camera of his 18-year-younger girlfriend.

He shared: "Human life is limited! When I was young, I didn't pay attention because I was busy struggling to make a living, loving and hating many things, and had a little money saved, but everyone has to die. Later, someone will pick me up, but that's... eternity. If I have surgery this afternoon and I get healthy again, I will go to the park tomorrow and tell the story of my life, through which you will learn a little experience."

Chi Trung was born in 1961, is a familiar face on stage as well as on screen, most famous for his role as Tao Giao Thong in the program Tao Quan . He used to be the Director of the Youth Theater and had a happy marriage with People's Artist Ngoc Huyen before the two broke up in 2018.
