'Quang Ninh tourism development is not commensurate with its stature'

Minister Nguyen Van Hung also requested Quang Ninh province to focus on promoting the implementation of tasks and solutions to restructure the tourism industry in the direction of promoting regional connectivity, connecting with the whole country and connecting with the region, ensuring synchronization and linkage between the tourism industry and other industries in the value chain, improving tourism competitiveness associated with green and sustainable development...

Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism Nguyen Van Hung emphasized that the conference is an opportunity for localities nationwide to learn from Quang Ninh's experience in tourism.

This is a methodical, scientific, and innovative way of doing tourism, promoting the advantages of natural resources and cultural resources to develop tourism, so Quang Ninh is always among the top localities in the country in attracting a large number of domestic and international tourists.

Also at the conference, experts, managers, and tourism workers also said that with such tourism resources, along with a modern and synchronous transport infrastructure system of roads, waterways, and airways, Quang Ninh tourism is fully capable of reaching further.

At the conference, Mr. Nguyen Xuan Ky, Secretary of the Quang Ninh Provincial Party Committee, said that from now until 2030, Quang Ninh will focus on consolidating its position as a national tourism locomotive, an international tourism center, attracting tourists all year round, from all 5 continents, becoming a "must-see" destination when coming to Vietnam.
