According to experts from the National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting, on March 10, the northern provinces and cities will still have scattered light rain; the North Central region will have rain in some places and light fog in the early morning; the southern region will have hot weather, especially the southeastern region will have widespread hot weather.
From March 11, in the North, rain tends to decrease, only light rain, drizzle and fog remain in the early morning; sunny in the afternoon, temperatures both day and night increase rapidly.
Notably, meteorological experts warn that from March 14-15, the possibility of fog and drizzle is highest in the next 10 days in the North.
The Central provinces will continue to have scattered rain until the end of March 12, after which the weather will turn sunny. The Central and South Central regions will have strong sunshine, with temperatures rising rapidly to 32-35 degrees.
The Central Highlands and the South maintain sunny weather during the day, with occasional rain in the evening and at night. The Southeast region is hot and sunny.
The Southern Hydrometeorological Station also forecasts that in the coming days, hot weather will continue to occur in the Eastern region and locally in the Western provinces with the highest temperature of 35-37 degrees, some places over 37 degrees. The lowest relative humidity is from 30-55%. The hot weather time during the day is from 12-16h.
The meteorological agency warns that hot weather combined with high UV index will affect people's health when participating in outdoor activities for a long time. Along with that, the humidity in the air is low, the weather is dry, beware of fire and explosion.
On March 10, Dr. Nguyen Ngoc Huy, an expert on climate change and natural disaster warning, made comments on the meteorological situation in the coming days. Specifically, the cloud mass in the North and North Central regions will move less and cause fog, drizzle and humid weather until almost the end of March.
Southern provinces will still be hot and sunny, ranging from 33-36 degrees Celsius until the end of March and continue into summer. Forecast scenarios show no rain in the Southeast and Mekong Delta in both March and April.
In addition, the National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting forecasts the weather in Hanoi for the next 3 days: Cloudy, occasional light rain, cold weather on March 10 with day and night temperatures ranging from 16-19 degrees. From March 11, the rain will decrease, there will be light sunshine in the afternoon, the temperature will increase rapidly, the highest temperature in the middle of the week will increase to 25-27 degrees and the lowest will be between 18-21 degrees.
