According to the National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting, on March 16, cold air continued to affect other places in the Northwest and Central Central regions, then affected some places in the South Central region. Inland, northeast winds were at level 3-4, coastal areas at level 4-5, with gusts of level 6 in some places.

The North and North Central regions are cold, with some mountainous areas in the North experiencing severe cold; the lowest temperature is commonly 13-17 degrees Celsius, with some places in the high mountains below 10 degrees Celsius.

From the night of March 16, the area from Quang Binh to Hue will turn cold; the lowest temperature will be 17-19 degrees.

At sea, the Gulf of Tonkin and the North East Sea will have northeast winds of level 6-7, gusting to level 8-9, and rough seas. From Quang Tri to Ba Ria - Vung Tau and the middle of the East Sea from the afternoon of March 16, northeast winds of level 6, gusting to level 7-8, rough seas.

The Meteorological Agency warned that on the morning of March 16, the Northern region will have scattered showers and thunderstorms in some places. On March 16, the North Central region will have scattered showers and thunderstorms.

The area from Quang Binh to Khanh Hoa has scattered showers and thunderstorms, with heavy rain in some places.

During thunderstorms there is a risk of tornadoes, lightning, hail and strong winds.

Da Nang - Binh Thuan
