On July 19, Hanoi University of Science and Technology announced the predicted admission scores based on the thinking assessment test scores and high school graduation exam scores in 2024.
Accordingly, the three majors expected to have the highest benchmark scores include: Computer Science (IT1), Computer Engineering (IT2) and Data Science and Artificial Intelligence (IT-E10). This is also the group of majors that has always had the highest benchmark scores at Hanoi University of Science and Technology in recent years.
Following with a benchmark score of about 27 - 28 are the majors of Control Engineering - Automation, Digital Space Security, Information Technology (Vietnam - Japan, Global ICT, Vietnam - France).
Many majors have standard scores in the range of 20 - 22.75 points, including: Environmental Engineering (EV1), Natural Resources and Environment Management (EV2), Materials Science and Engineering (MS-E3), Textile Technology (TX1).
The 2024 forecast for these industries is up slightly from the 2023 forecast by 0.75 points.
The predicted benchmarks for each industry are as follows:
For the admission method based on high school graduation exam scores, the minimum admission score threshold to register for a wish is 20. For the admission method based on Thinking Assessment exam scores, the minimum admission score threshold is 50 points.
Candidates should also note the Foreign Language requirements when applying for English-taught programs, English language majors and international joint training programs.
In 2024, Hanoi University of Science and Technology will recruit 9,260 students using 3 methods: Talent selection (about 20%); Selection based on thinking assessment test results (about 30%); Selection based on 2024 high school graduation exam scores (about 50%).
The tuition fee offered by the school for full-time students studying the standard program is about 24 - 30 million VND/year, an increase of 1 million VND compared to last year.
For ELITECH programs, tuition fees are 33 - 42 million VND/academic year, while Data Science and Artificial Intelligence (IT-E10) and Logistics and Supply Chain Management (EM-E14) programs have tuition fees of 64 - 67 million VND/academic year.
The English dual degree programs have a tuition fee of 45 million VND/academic year, including registration fee.
For international programs and international training partnerships with foreign partners, tuition fees range from 24 to 29 million VND/semester.
As for the Business Administration (TROY-BA) and Computer Science (TROY-IT) programs in cooperation with Troy University, there are 3 semesters in one academic year. Thus, the tuition fee is 87 million VND/academic year.
