As one of the important solutions in promoting investment and economic growth, in 2025, site clearance work will continue to be focused on by Dong Trieu City from the first months of the year to speed up construction progress, complete projects and disburse investment capital.
Quan Vuong area, Binh Khe commune (Dong Trieu city) currently has more than 100 families subject to land acquisition for 4 projects related to road expansion, resettlement areas and cemeteries, including 20 households whose residential land is affected. The city has assigned officials in charge of communes to coordinate strictly implementing the steps in the process of drafting compensation plans for land acquisition, directly notifying each household subject to land acquisition. As one of the households with a part of the land area to be recovered, Mr. Cam Van Quang (Quan Vuong area, Binh Khe, Dong Trieu city) said: People understand the purpose and significance of the projects being implemented, so they are very supportive, especially in land acquisition. Currently, more than 50% of graves have been relocated; people are preparing to move to a new place of residence.
Along with a group of 4 projects in Binh Khe commune, Dong Trieu city is focusing on site clearance for 4 public investment projects and 1 investment project to expand the exploitation of Mao Khe mine with a total reclaimed area of over 141 hectares, affecting more than 1,230 households. In particular, for key public investment projects being implemented by the province, site clearance must be accelerated, such as: Additional site clearance for the riverside road project with a reclaimed area of 7.13 hectares involving 319 households; The investment project to build provincial road 327 from the provincial gate intersection to Dong Trieu main road has an area of 31.5 hectares, involving 538 households, and to upgrade provincial road 345 with an area of 28.9 hectares, affecting 173 households. Dong Trieu city has completed the counting, plot extraction, land origin verification, unit price construction and sent to households a draft compensation plan to continue implementing the procedural steps in site clearance work.
Mr. Phan Thanh San, Deputy Director of the Land Fund Development Center of Dong Trieu City, said: With the direction of the province and the city, the Land Fund Development Center has focused on coordinating with wards and communes both after hours and on Saturdays and Sundays to complete the steps in the process of land acquisition and clearance. The draft documents of any area are publicized to receive opinions from households to report to the City Land Acquisition and Clearance Council for consideration and approval of the plans.
Along with speeding up the process of site clearance, the city is mobilizing the entire political system to focus on propaganda and explanation of compensation policies and mechanisms, creating consensus among the people, and promptly handing over the recovered area to implement projects.
